Signed and dated by the artist (that's me!)
Each Brave Girl has a special story to tell you (read this girl's story below!). Each one speaks truth to you about who you were designed to be by God. These girls inspire us to bravely embrace the new creation we are through Christ. Sometimes kindness, generosity, hope and mercy take the most courage to show to others. With God's help, these Brave girls are you and these Brave Girls are me.
Each original comes signed and includes layers of texture that a picture alone cannot do justice to. Each original is created using layers of papers, paint and as always, hidden messages are tucked away in every single original painting. It's like a treasure hunt to seek out these words and phrases cut from books, hymnals and magazines.
Part of my Brave Girls Series. See the photo for examples of others in the series. See my shop section called Brave Girls Art to purchase others.
What you see here is the fulfillment of a dream to paint and to bring joy and meaning to people's homes through art.
Each original art piece includes several hidden messages in the work - many are words from hymnals, books, poems, etc. Often they are prayers of praise or reminders of God's work in my life.
Ready to ship.
This story below will be included on the back of the original and all reprints. The story is part of the art.
She Makes the World a Prettier Place
She sees the world in a different way,
All those colors, all that light.
She absorbs it, takes it in and then transforms it.
She doesn’t just see what is,
Sometimes she misses that completely.
She sees what could be…
and it sets her soul on fire.
Her hands can’t keep up with her mind,
The ideas come quickly and freely.
She is a maker and she follows in a tradition
As old as time itself.
Generations before her created with their hands
Leaving their mark on the world.
She will too.
She is compelled to make,
compelled to create,
Compelled to make the world a prettier place.
