6x6 inch Abstract Beach Sunset Painting dedicated to and inspired by Fort Myers Beach prior to Hurricane Ian's destruction. FMB has been my favorite beach spot for the past 2 years since we moved to Fort Myers. The devastation of our beach is just horrible.

Look closely for the hidden message(s) cut from hymnals, magazines or books tucked into the paint.

Acrylic on 6x6 inch canvas with 1.25 inch depth. Fort Myers Beach is handwritten on the piece by me. Easily stands on it's own as a shelf sitter or can hang on the wall.

The beach is my happy place. When God called our family to move from North Carolina to the Gulf Coast of Florida, it was a shock but one comfort I had throughout the process was knowing I would be closer to the beach. As you likely know, the Gulf Coast is stunning with it's white powdery sand, clear water and spectacular sunsets over the water. I was inspired by those gorgeous sunsets when painting these abstract sunset pieces. After living here in Florida for 2 years now I can safely say that God knew what He was doing... in case there was ever any doubt. He has blessed my family and I more than I could have imagined in these past two years.

Every original painting includes hidden messages tucked into the paint! I cut these words and phrases from hymnals, magazines and books. They make for a super fun treasure hunt. Check the photos for these details. My work is designed to be bright, joy filled and free spirited but the hidden messages add depth and meaning to the happy, cheerful exterior. As you read these messages, I hope you are continually encouraged and inspired  and that they remind you of God's goodness, faithfulness and purposes in your life.
